JR Motorsports -- NNS Charlotte Preview

“We’re getting ready for a fun summer of racing. I’m excited for it and excited for our TaxSlayer team. We want to start this stretch off on the right foot. It’s a good feeling to be leading the points, but to that point, we still want to be improving. Right now, we’re in a solid position because everyone is chasing us and it’s almost like you have a bit more control when you’re leading the points. But we’re still not satisfied. From the beginning of the year, the goal has been the championship. The great thing is that we have Greg Ives who has been in a lot of the situations we’re going to face this year. Looking down the road when we get into the thick of it, he has the experience and the know-how to guide our team through everything and out the other side.”
