Points Leader Smith Looks Ahead To Michigan

TaxSlayer.com Chevrolet Camaro

“It’s been a good start to the season for us with the TaxSlayer Chevy. We certainly want to keep that rolling in Michigan and keep our momentum up. Ideally, we can build on our points lead this weekend. I know we’ve given up a few points over the last two weeks and now we have another opportunity to hopefully perform better. “I’ve enjoyed working with Greg (Ives) a lot this year. He is as even keeled as they come. Nothing seems to faze the guy. If we’re having a bad day on the racetrack, he is the same tone as if we just won the race. He doesn't let anything get to him, which in turn helps me because I have a tendency to get wound up very easily. He does a good job of keeping me focused and calm.”
