Fire Alarm Services Back With The 7 Team

Fire Alarm Services Chevrolet Camaro

Smith’s No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro features the Fire Alarm Services brand on board this weekend in Kansas. Based in Denver, Colo., Fire Alarm provides one service that covers fire alarm, electrical, security, and fire suppression needs. The company had primary placement at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this year, where Smith earned the first of 16 top-10 finishes on the season. Visit Fire Alarm’s website for more information at

“We’re happy to have Fire Alarm back with us this weekend, and I like the whole idea behind the pink car for this race. It’s for a great cause because breast cancer awareness is important to all of us and something the entire NASCAR community supports.“Kansas was a tremendous opportunity for me last year in the Cup race and it opened doors for me, including the chance to get in the 7 car. We’ve struggled a little bit over the past few weeks to finish the race strong. We know what needs to be done. I know JRM has had success at Kansas, and it’s as good a place as any to get back up front.”

Both Regan Smith’s No. 7 and JRM teammate Brad Sweet’s No. 5 Chevrolets will feature pink-themed paint schemes at Kansas Speedway to promote the “Paint the Track Pink” program and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The cars are part of a widespread initiative which offers a portion of sales from select die-cast cars to benefit The National Breast Cancer Foundation. The Foundation’s mission includes raising awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need and support services.

Regan Smith drove the No. 88 Chevrolet to a seventh-lace finish last fall at Kansas in his second of two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races for Hendrick Motorsports. Smith substituted for Dale Earnhardt Jr. at Charlotte and Kansas after Earnhardt suffered a concussion during a wreck at Talladega Superspeedway. The two-race stint served as Smith’s de facto audition for a full-time ride driving JRM’s No. 7 car in 2013.

Smith and the 7 team will race chassis No. 800 at Kansas. Smith scored his most recent victory with this chassis at Michigan in June. The chassis also raced at Indianapolis and Chicago (September).
